TrueStrike’s CEO, Philip Sear visited the world acclaimed Pinehurst Golf and Country Club in North Carolina USA for the GolfSmith GM conference where selected vendors were invited to attend and was savagely attacked by a 6’ 2” tall squirrel.

It is understood that these giant squirrels that reside in this area are very sensitive when called “cute”, “sweet”, “cuddly” and worst of all the mention of children. All local’s residents are well aware of this particular trait, but when TrueStrike’s CEO Philip said to one of them, “Hey there cute squirrel, you look so sweet my children would find you really cuddly”, the squirrel, understood to be called ‘Marcus the Squirrel’, leapt out of the undergrowth and savagely attacked him!

All ended peacefully though when Philip apologised to Marcus the Squirrel for his lack of local knowledge and custom Marcus decided to pose for some pictures to mark the event.

The golf was fabulous and a good time was had by all.
