"We upgraded to the TrueStrike and TrueTee system towards the later part of summer 2012 and have see the benefits of doing so.
Our existing suppliers offered us the new all singing and dancing option for about £1,000 per year per station which we had been paying for the past 5 years already and I was on the verge of signing the new contract until I discovered TrueTee and TrueStrike in the Golf range news.
I was led to believe that the existing system that I had was the only viable option on the market, how wrong that information was.
I contacted Phil just to see what the options were and I was amazed at the deal I got. The TrueTee system delivers a ball on the tee within 1 second of the previous ball being hit, so as an operator you really get the advantage of the speeding up play during the busy times and benefit from the increased revenue. Our old tee up system delivered a ball in some 10 to 12 seconds which compared to Our new TrueTee system was positively sedentary.
What I was also extremely pleased with was that not only was the cost of the TrueTee system about 40% cheaper than the offer I got from our old suppliers, but we also got the TrueStrike gel range mat into the bargain included in the deal. Our better golfers love the TrueStrike gel system which they report performs at least to 90% of a grass fairway where with out old system you could only work with standard range mats. We have seen a marked increase in better golfers frequenting our facility to hit from the TrueStrike gel system.
TrueStrike and TrueTee has really made a huge difference to our operation down at Plymouth and I would be only to pleased to recommend TrueStrike and TrueTee to any quality golf and range facility as long as they are not to close to us!!"

The TrueStrike mats are a great addition to our club fitting practices. The ability of a customer to set a tee height they are comfortable with makes the fitting process more accurate. Tee height has a drastic impact on launch and spin, which are critical to fitting. Additionally, it is more realistic, and much easier on the customer to hit irons from the gel based strike surface than from a traditional rubber mat or tee.

The mat seems to completely eliminate the shock of a normal iron shot that you get from an ordinary mat. It also simulates a heavy strike, which is again not the case on an ordinary mat, which disguises many heavy strikes. Once the player is used to it they can hit down on the ball without fear of injury, which I think, is the biggest plus. The feeling from the strike is also far superior.

The performance and feel of playing from a TrueStrike mat is significantly superior to many other mats that I have ever used, but the overriding benefits as far as YMG are concerned are the ones that affect the young golfer's health.

Although these days I am recognised more as a coach rather than a European Tour player, I still derive great enjoyment from practising and demonstrating shots.
