TrueStrike at the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show

Visitors at the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show had ample opportunity to experience the revolutionary “fairway forgiveness” effect of TrueStrike hitting mats. The effect is produced by unique top surface and the silicone gel based divot simulating subsurface.

The TrueStrike™ booth had two netted hitting areas, one featuring a single ended mat and the other a double-ended mat. This allowed the many visitors to try the mat for themselves.

Danny Fitzsimmons, a UK PGA Professional, spoke with many of the attendees and took the time to demonstrate the benefits of the mat. Without fail everyone who tried the mats loved the fact that they play, feel and react like a natural fairway.

Those who really wanted to put the mat through it’s paces went up to the Equipment Testing Centre, an indoor driving range, where 12 TrueStrike™ hitting mats were available for testing. The TrueStrike™area of the ETC was busy throughout the show with attendees eager to try out the mat.

A number of club and equipment manufacturers reserved the TrueStrike™ bays on the ETC and Element 21, Mizuno, Orlimar, Suunto, Nippon Shaft, Izzo Golf, Bentley Sports, Stulz Golf, Magique Golf and Wilson Staff all used the TrueStrike™ mat to demonstrate their latest products.

Whilst Accusport, Momentus Golf and Hot Stix, all used the TrueStrike™ mat on their booths.
